Who We Are
Atlantic Dewatering Services, LLC was started in 2004 by Joe VanSchaick and John De Rham.
Joe had been providing land application service to dairy farmers in upper state New York for several years prior to moving to North Carolina in 2002. Here, he continued working in the residual management business. While calling on various industries and municipalities, he discovered a lack of disposal options for the smaller wastewater generators. He teamed up with John De Rham who had been working with an equipment manufacturer that specialized in composting equipment and dewatering boxes. They soon formed a new  company, Atlantic Dewatering Services and bought the rights to the dewatering box technology. They began by providing both the equipment and dewatering services to these small generators. The company expanded on Joe’s background in land application and began providing these services to livestock operations in North Carolina in late 2004. In 2007 the company expanded again and began providing land application services to municipal and industrial customers, thereby complimenting their existing business. In 2008 the company expanded it’s geographical service area and began providing services thru most of North and South Carolina.
